Spanglish is a language exchange community in Asunción, Paraguay. They organize monthly events where Spanish and English speakers come together to practice languages, meet new people, and have fun in a relaxed social environment.

Anyone interested in practicing English or Spanish is welcome. All levels are accepted, from complete beginners to native speakers. The events are inclusive and open to everyone. We just ask that everyone comes with a positive attitude and a willingness to help others practice as well, understanding that we’re all there to learn in a relaxed, judgment-free environment.

Events usually last 2–3 hours. Attendees are paired with people who speak the language they want to practice. Partners are rotated throughout the evening so participants can meet multiple people. There are also group activities and free conversation time.

Prices vary by event but are kept affordable. The fee covers venue costs and organization. Specific pricing is listed on each event page. Some special events may even be free!

No! Complete beginners are welcome. Events are structured to support all levels, and native speakers help beginners practice. It’s a judgment-free zone for learning.

Absolutely! Most attendees come alone, and that’s perfectly fine. Events are designed to be social, so you’ll quickly find conversation partners.
